The AD Mk13 is the next iteration of the Mk13 Mod7 previously in service with USSOCOM Units. For years Special Operations Snipers have had to deal with a long sniper rifle package during full scale HALO/HAHO and SPIES/FRIES insertions as well as during grueling stalks. Adjusting even slightly to compensate for this during these operations presents even greater danger to the Operator before they even reach the target. The founding members have all used this rifle with great success in combat, but have always had to deal with its shortcomings, both in size and modularity. AD and other current Special Operations members designed this new Mk13 concept to adapt to the needs and rigors of the most current mission sets. The concept being that the rifle, with the addition of a suppressor attached, would still be approximately the same length as current unsuppressed sniper systems and with better balance. More compact size, greater recoil reduction, greater accuracy and less fatigue on the operator. This rifle is designed to be as bomb proof as it is accurate. Jump it out of a plane at 25,000ft, submerge it in the ocean’s salt water, or strap it to an ATV or Gun Truck in the dusty mountains of Afghanistan. This Mk13 is on mission and here to stay.

Description

Barrel: AD Custom 22” #10 MTU contour, cut rifled 416R stainless steel barrel, threaded 5/8×24 for a suppressor ready muzzle device.

Action: Badger Ordnance M2013, selected over all other COTS actions due to the massive integral recoil lugs, wire EDM cut raceway insert, modified M16 style extractor and 6 locking bolt lugs over the traditional Remington-style 2 lug. Includes a 20 MOA biased top rail for mounting all M1913 standard optic mounts

Trigger: Timney 517 Flat Adjustable, set at installation to average at 2.5 lbs. with a crisp break.

Chassis: Pale Brown Accuracy International PSR chassis was chosen as a lighter and superior design to the Remington RACS used in the M2010 and MSR, with a side folding stock that captures the bolt handle for transport and an integral KeyMod forend to shield the barrel while allowing for attachment of accessories. *Comes with three rail sections, QD socket, Bipod adapter and one (1) AI 5rd Detachable Box Magazine.

Muzzle Device: Silencerco ASR Muzzle Brake standard, other options available on request.

Coatings: Action, Barrel and Chassis are coated in Magpul FDE Cerakote for maximum corrosion resistance and lubricity. Bolt is hot blued to give a black, corrosion resistant finish while not interfering with the tight tolerances of the action.

*Rifle comes with a Harris BRM 6”-9” notched S series Bipod installed
